About the event
Join us on August 12 at the Anderson Park Shelter in Schenley Park for a "Taste of Shoresh"
3 educators will teach classes in topics they are passionate about to give us a taste of the learning and community we are building at Shoresh!
David Harris-Gershon with Project HG, teaching "No Justice, No Peace - Parshat Shoftim"
Cantor Julie Newman with Tiferet, teaching "“Sha’arei Guf - Gates of the Body” (that week’s parsha), bringing attention to the mindful opening and closing of the limbs and the senses, looking towards bringing it into healthy balance"
Rabbi Mark Asher Goodman of Shoresh, teaching "Why 'Shoresh'?"
There will snacks, drinks, and childcare for children ages 5 and up.
