What makes for a meaningful life? What is our purpose? How do we find connectedness? What is the right balance of joy and sorrow to life? What is Kabbalah - Jewish mysticism? How can I know God? These questions and many more are answered by the master pietists of the 18th to 20th century known as the Hassidim, who wanted to made the deep esoteric knowledge of the Bible accessible to everyone.
