Roots of Prayer: Amidah

Service Description

Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 27-December 3 (10 sessions), 6-7pm, In-person only. No class on November 26th due to Thanksgiving, instead we will have class on December 3. In this intermediate Hebrew class you will learn the roots of Jewish prayer in their original Hebrew. Gain practice and fluency with sounding out the words correctly. Explore the meanings of the words of the Amidah prayers and gain a sense of connection and deep introspection and mindfulness using the ancient words of the Jewish tradition.
