Weekly Talmud Class

Service Description

Join Rabbi Mark Asher Goodman for a Talmud class, open to all levels. We're working our way through Bava Kamma, which covers the broad topic of damages. More specifically, things like who owes what when an ox breaks your fence, or when a campfire starts a fire next door. The broader moral topics at play are an exploration of responsibility, meaning, truth, enlightenment, and justice. If you would like to take this class online please email rabbimark@shoreshpgh.org. Our pricing model for this drop in class offers three tiers to make classes accessible to everyone, regardless of financial means. Choose the rate that allows you to comfortable participate. If you can, please consider paying at the "Abundance rate" which will allow other community members to engage in our programming regardless of their financial situation.
